Hello 2015!

So I'm guessing I may be the last blogger to be doing this but Happy New Year everyone! I have been so incredibly busy over the past few weeks. I decided to take a blogging break over the holidays and during my time in Australia I was really struggling with both internet connection and actually having the time to write. I'm now back at home and since I've been back my personal life has been a bit up in the air. I'm now finally ready to come back to blogging, I've really missed it, and I can't wait to tell you guys what I've got in store for 2015!

I want to start by doing a little round up of last year. For me 2014 was an amazing year filled with ups and downs and new adventures. I was fortunate enough to travel to so many amazing places, and even revisit some, which has meant a lot of amazing memories but also a lot of hard work to get there. Last year I got my first full time job to save for my travels and although it's not a career I intend on pursuing, it was an experience. It allowed me to save the money I needed and I was lucky to work with some great people.

The places I was fortunate enough to visit last year include Thailand, Bali and the Gili Islands twice and also Malaysia, Vietnam and Australia. It was the best year in terms of travel for me so far, I feel incredibly lucky I've had the chance to visit so many amazing places and proud that I was able to make it happen. I've not only seen so much but feel as though I learnt a lot from experiencing different cultures and talking to people from all over the world. Travel really does open your eyes and of course give you incredible memories that will last forever.

A major change for me last year was moving house with my family. This was hard for me but it was the right decision for my parents and I'm trying to make it feel like home. Although I love to travel and have new experiences leaving my home of 13 years was hard, I liked knowing home was waiting for me but I'm starting to readjust. I'm fortunate enough that my parents are still letting me live with them, so I can continue saving, and we have a beautiful home so there's not much to complain about really.

2015 so far has been incredible kicking off in Australia! I had such an amazing time it broke my heart when we had to leave. I'm planning on 2015 being the best year yet, I already have so many ideas of where I want to go and what I want to achieve.

hope all of you guys are enjoying 2015 so far and good luck to those of you trying to keep New Years resolutions. I don't normally make them, as I pretty much always fail within the first two days, but this year I have decided to make only one and really focus on sticking to it. I've decided my resolution is to be in the moment. I've noticed since I've been travelling I can get so carried away taking photos or rushing around to get to the next place I don't really make the time to simply take it all in and be there in that moment. I really want to make a conscious effort to work on this one and fully absorb my surroundings and experiences.

My posting schedule will return to normal from now on with the usual posts on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I've been planning new posts and coming up with new ideas for the blog so hopefully you guys stay tuned for those. You can also follow me on Twitter and Instagram for more frequent updates, I will be posting regularly again from now on!
